Our journey began several years ago when we first discovered beef tallow through natural skincare. What started as a curiosity quickly became a passion. As we learned more about traditional fats and ancestral ways of living, we began using beef tallow not only on our skin, but in our kitchens and everyday lives.

The changes we experienced as a family through cooking with real, natural fats were profound. We moved away from highly processed oils and returned to simple, traditional cooking methods that generations before us once relied on. For us, this wasn't about trends or fads — it was about reconnecting with real food, real farming, and a more grounded way of living.

Today, Golden Herd Organics proudly produces premium organic grass-fed beef tallow that can be traced from farm to jar.

We work alongside trusted Irish farmers and herdsmen in County Tipperary who share our values of regenerative farming, biodiversity, animal welfare, and stewardship of the land. Our beef fat is sourced through the exceptional team at The Good Herdsmen, whose commitment to regenerative agriculture, healthy soil, and high-quality Irish beef aligns closely with our own philosophy.

These are farmers who believe in giving back to the soil rather than simply taking from it — protecting hedgerows, nurturing healthy pastures, and working with nature instead of against it.
